You’re female aren’t you. There’s no other explaination I can come up with for the feeling of girliness I get when I read your comments.

Coral, if you are talking about the male character in the image from Scrapped Princess, there is a good reason why he would look similar to an FMA character. Both Full Metal Alchemist and Scrapped Princess were animated by Studio Bones. Thus with the same character designers/animation staff, of course characters will look similar. The only problem here is, Scrapped Princess was made first, thus, FMA characters look like Scrapped Princess characters.

Why don’t you give a show a chance and see if you like the story, characters, setting, music, etc… Still images can do little to let you know what an anime is going to be like. For example, I was turned off by the initial character designs I saw for Noein. Now that I’ve seen the series, I rank it as one of my favorites.

Noein had a highly interesting plot and amazing concept. I am fascinated with the time traveling and the different possibilities. The story unfolds slowly as each fact reveals itself. It captures your interest and every episode make you want to watch on.

In addition, the music is also marvelous. It’s a must-watch.
